Dr. Dawn Gullette Crosson, Psy.D

Dr. Dawn Gullette Crosson, Psy.D is the Executive Clinical Director (ECD) and has over 23 years in the field of mental health. She is a Licensed Psychologist and a Certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. She began working with at-risk children (grades 2 to 12th) in 1998 in the Harrisburg School District with the T.E.N. after-school program and served as the program director at Steele Elementary School for 7 years. During that time, she also provided psychological evaluations, pre and post-test assessments and outpatient treatment including play therapy for children in the district with learning disabilities and behavioral difficulties. In addition, she worked as a Family Preservation and Reunification Therapist, helping families to remain intact and addressing problematic behaviors, including, but not limited to; neglect, sexual and physical abuse, delinquency, truancy, and conduct difficulties. She served as director of the Keystone Children and Family Services Foster Care and Host Home Program for 3 years and was responsible for placing at-risk children in safe environments and ensuring they received the necessary services to thrive in their new homes. Dr. Crosson has provided trainings for Dauphin County Children and Youth for over 15 years on topics such as: Conduct Disorders, Mood Disorders, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and Sexual Abuse. She is currently the sole proprietor of an outpatient office, Petra Psychological Services, L.L.C , est. 2007 and continues to serve children that are at-risk.
