The Trauma Recovery Model (TRC)
The TRC model provides easily accessible trauma and comprehensive mental health and community services to survivors of physical/sexual abuse, and domestic violence/community violence. The model is designed to serve survivors of trauma that are experiencing post traumatic symptoms BUT are not receiving other mental health services. It is a stepped care model that entails: Safety and Stabilization, Remembrance and Mourning and Reconnection.

Individual Session
Upon intake, clients are assessed to determine the appropriate level of care (Safety and Stabilization, Remembrance and Mourning or Reconnection). Clients are provided with 16 sessions and are eligible for reassessment to determine if more sessions are needed or to proceed to the next level of care. Groups are available to all clients to attend and can include DBT skills, yoga, mindfulness, and psychoeducation.
